Armed Robbery in New Haven

New Haven Police carThe New Haven Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to an armed robbery at the Speedway Station, located at Lincoln Hwy and Hartzell Rd in New Haven.

NHPD Officers arrived and met with Witness’s who stated there were two males, dressed in all black, with handguns and that they had just robbed the station. Witness’s stated the Suspect’s fled on foot Northbound from the station. Officers were told a White vehicle was involved and the vehicle located on Hartzell at the railroad crossing, stopped due to a train. The vehicle had two females inside, both were detained, however, the male suspect’s were not in the vehicle. One female, was held due to outstanding warrant and a local charge. A NHPD K9 tracked the area North of the station and located a handgun, that was involved in the robbery.

A Witness of the robbery spotted two males walking South on Brookwood Drive, South of SR 930. The Witness continued to watch the Suspect’s until an assisting FWPD Officer was in the area and took them into custody. Suspect’s were in custody at approximately 11:57 pm.

Both male suspect’s were charged with one count of robbery.

Alexander R Yoho M/W 24, 1 count of robbery
