LEO ELEMENTARY MATH SCHOLARS WIN NATIONAL COMPETITION

Sumdog National WinnersRecently, Mrs. Peters Leo Elementary pre-algebra math class won the 7-day Sumdog National Competition! They won by 100 points, beating 788 other schools in the country. There were 3 Leo Elementary students that placed in the top 10 out of 46,600 students! Out of 1000 questions, Andrew Tkacz placed 3rd overall with all 1000 correct, Emily Ibholim placed 7th overall with 999, and Landon Kilgus placed 10th overall with 998 correct answers!
There were also 14 other Leo Elementary students that placed in the top 50!

Sumdog’s are free mathematic games designed to improve mental math fluency at grades 1-8. Most of the games are multiplayer, letting students around the world play against one another.
