Sarah Kupfersmith

Sarah Kupfersmith, age 94 died Thursday, September 25, 2014.

She was born December 18, 1919 in Pruden, TN, the daughter of Claud and Rachel M. (Smith) Jackson. On July 27, 1938 she married Edwin H. Kupfersmith, who preceded her in death on August 28, 1999. She was a member of and Sunday school teacher at Paulding Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of Paulding County Senior Center, Paulding Co. Hospital Auxiliary; and Paulding Co. Benevolence Society. She was formerly employed by Northwest Ohio Community Action retiring in 1982.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Guy) Baldwin, Paulding, Sharon (Dr. William) Hodge of NC, a sister, Ruby Tinker, Tucson, AZ, five grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a great granddaughter, Natalie Hodge; five brothers, William Carl, Claud Jr., Frederick, Ed and Tom Jackson; and four sisters, Mary Maple, Irene Kupfersmith, Burta Smith, and Rebecca Moore.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Paulding Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 – 9 PM Monday, September 29 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and from 10 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the church.
