Perfect weather made great time at Halloween Parade & Costume Contest in Paulding

Lions Club Halloween ParadeThe Paulding Lions Club held its Halloween Parade and Costume Contest in Paulding. Ohio on October 25, 2014. The parade started at 1:30 p.m. with a balloon release in front of the Paulding County Carnegie Library. It was a perfect sunny day for the parade.

There were approximately 75 to 100 spectators and Halloween participants. 55 children and adults participated in the costume judging. Prizes were awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of the 10 costume categories. All contestants received a sack of candy that included a coupon from either the Paulding Dairy Queen or McDonald’s Restaurant.

This year’s Grand Prize winner of the Paulding Lions Club Halloween Costume Contest was “Little Red Riding Hood” Kelsie Pack.

The Paulding Lions Club is very appreciative to all the businesses and individuals who assisted in making this year’s Halloween Parade a great success.
