Theodore Thomas Schlosser “Ted”, 80, left to be with our Lord on Monday December 31, 2012.
Ted was born April 28, 1932 to the late Dewey and Beaulah Schlosser in Defiance County Ohio. He was united in marriage to Pearl Fitzsimmons, on January 11, 1975 in Hicksville, Ohio.
Ted was a hard worker and retired from Dotco-Cooper Tools after 27 years of employment. He was a one of a kind person who was very considerate of others and loved by many
Ted enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, riding his bike around town and stopping for a visit with friends. He enjoyed mowing and tinkering in his garage. He was a man known for his smile and his enjoyment of the simple things in life.
He will be remembered and missed by his wife Pearl and his seven sisters, Vivian (Ray) Tack, Marjorie (Charles) Miller, Joanne (Ron) Luderman, Elaine Carpenter, Sandy (Larry) Joost, Penny (Calvin) Whitfield, June (Ron) Crosser and his brother Skip (Rose) Schlosser, nieces and nephews.
Those that have preceded him in death are his stepmother Glendora Salisbury, two sisters, two brothers and a brother in law Richard Carpenter.
Visitation for Theodore will be Thursday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, from 2:00-8:00. The funeral will be on Friday at 10:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Peter Simpson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hicksville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
