Carol A. Dix

PAULDING: Carol A. Dix, age 66, died Friday, January 11 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, IN.

She was born September 4, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, IN, the daughter of Carlton and Cemantha (Sprague) Cluts. On June 28, 1969 she married Roger E. Dix, who survives. She was previously employed by Paulding Exempted Village Schools in the cafeteria and Vagabond Village Restaurant. She was a member of the Paulding Eagles #2405 Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, bowling, throwing darts, baking and cooking and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Dix, Paulding; three daughters, Karla (James “Buddy” Decker, New Haven, IN, Ann (Paul) Talbott, Cecil, and June (Daren) Smith, Liberty Center, Ohio; two brothers, Kenny (Sandy) Cluts, Paulding, and Norbert (Jeanne) Cluts, Ft. Wayne, IN; eight grandchildren: Alyssia, Joseph, Katrina, Jeff, Daniel, Justin, Madison, and Dustin; and four great grandchildren: Allie, Spenser, Tyler and Elizabeth.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, January 17 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding.

Visitation will be 2:30 – 8PM Wednesday, January 16 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
