Alyse Yvonne Townley, age 65 died February 12, 2013 at the Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne Indiana.
She was born on September 21, 1947 in Defiance Ohio the daughter of Carl Ross and Vera Avis (Converse) DeGood. On March 18, 1967 she married Thomas J. Townley, who survives. Alyse was very active in her lifetime. She was a avid bowler, card player, genealogy researcher, member of the Paulding VFW Post #587 Auxiliary, member of many book clubs and a member of the Turtles Club. But most of all, she was a loving, devoted wife and mother. The one thing in this world that kept her going was her family. She will be greatly missed.
Also surviving: a daughter Lisa M. Adams of Defiance Ohio, one son Brent (Leslie) Townley of Paulding Ohio. 3 Brothers: Rick (Ja Dee) DeGood of Paulding Ohio, Gary DeGood of Le Roy Michigan and Perry (Gail) DeGood of Perrinton Michigan. 1 Sister: Dee Becker of Okemos Michigan, Mother in Law: Lorraine K. Townley of Linden Michigan, Sister in Law: Deborah L. Townley of Linden Michigan. Brother in Law: Robert (Jeanne) Townley of Grand Blanc Michigan, Mike (Eva) Townley of Flint Michigan and Fred (Ellen) Townley of Paulding Ohio. 4 Grandchildren: Kyle and A.J. Adams, Briana and Emma Townley also many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Carl Ross and Vera Avis DeGood, Father in Law: Russell Alex Townley, Son in Law: Steven Lee Adams, Brother in Law: Timothy Ralph Townley.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM February 18, 2013 at the DenHerder Funeral Home Paulding Ohio. Pastor Ben Lowell will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date. Calling at the DenHerder Funeral Home Paulding Ohio on February 17, 2013 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM and Monday morning one hour prior to services 10:00AM to 11:00AM
