Dale Armbruster
Dale F. Armbruster, 80, of Woodburn, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Woodburn. Dale retired from a lifetime of farming. He owned and operated Oakdale Landscaping Company and retired as a bus driver for East Allen County Schools after 32 years. He served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Beverly; children, Greg (Cindy) Armbruster of Hamel, MN, Dawn (Hank) DiNunzio of Washington, DC, Mitch (Debbie) Armbruster of Brownsburg, and Eric (Marsha) Armbruster of Woodburn; grandchildren, Nicole, Bryce, Nathan, David, Brooke, and Winston; and step-grandchildren, Cameron and Chris. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helene Youse and Elnor Genth.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7616 Bull Rapids Rd., Woodburn with calling one hour prior. Rev. Lewis Stier officiating. Calling is also 12 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the church cemetery.
