PAULDING: Dorothy Eileen Potts, age 79 died Monday, February 25 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
She was born March 8, 1933 in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Corwin and Kathryn (Baur) Smith. On October 15, 1954 she married William Joseph Potts, who preceded her in death on October 6, 1982. She was formerly employed by Stokley’s Canning Plant.
She is survived by three daughters, Frances Russell, Grover Hill, OH, Barbara (LeRoy) Gillett) Bryan, OH, and Rose Shepard, Oakwood, OH; a brother, Donald (Patricia) Smith, Edon, OH; a sister, Viola (Phillip) Lupien, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Cathy Potts, Sherwood; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bill Potts; son-in-law, Pat Shepard; and a sister, Margaret Ann Hoover
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, February 28 at Den Herder Funeral Home with Rev. C. Joseph Fifer officiating. Burial will follow in Bowholtz Cemetery, Paulding County.
Visitation will be 2 – 8PM Wednesday, February 27 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
