Phillip L Helms, 60, of Payne, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his residence.
Phil was born in Angola, Indiana on October 3, 1952 and raised by the late Richard & Helen Helms.
He retired from BF Goodrich, Woodburn.
On May 20, 1977 he married Marcia Handy who passed away July 18, 2012.
Phil will be sadly missed by his son, Judd of Fort Wayne; siblings, Diana Larimore, Dorothy Gebhart, Emily Jones, Kristina Kipker & Rick Helms all of Payne, Rita Stackhouse of Pleasant Lake, George Helms of Paulding, Donna Garstka & Patricia Speith of New Haven, Mary Roemer of Fort Wayne and James Helms of Oklahoma City. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Helms.
Services will be held at the convenience of Phil’s family, under the direction of Dooley Funeral Homes of Antwerp & Payne.
