Clara Moden
CECIL: Clara Marie Moden, age 81 died Sunday, April 7 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice, Van Wert, OH.
She was born May 26, 1931 in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter of Paul B. and Ruth L. (Phillips) Holtsberry. She was an avid NASCAR fan.
She is survived by three daughters, Kay (Fred) McBroom, Defiance, Carol (Ray) Finfrock, Paulding, and Jill (Ruben) Rodriguez, Ft. Wayne; two sisters, Ramona Fillman, Paulding, and Ruth Elaine Underwood, Van Wert; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; companion, Andrew J. Tilley; an infant son, Floyd A. Glass; a brother, Paul D. Holtsberry and a sister, Alice Foust.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, April 11 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will follow in Hedges Cemetery, Paulding County.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM Wednesday, April 10 at Den Herder Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
