DEFIANCE: Alberta Della Rowe, age 86 died Monday, May 20 at CHP Inpatient Hospice, Defiance.
She was born February 7, 1927 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Walter W. and Alberta N. (Turner) Brown. On March 19, 1990 she married Robert Leroy Rowe, who preceded her in death on March 10, 1999.
Alberta is survived by five children: Larry (Rowe) Rowe, White Lake, MI, Robert (Diania) Rowe, Shelby township, MI, Margaret Ann (Lavon) Ross, Adrian, MI, Constance Rowe Sullivan, Ft. Wayne, and Nancy (Pat) Okuley, Toledo; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Teresa Brown; two brothers, Emmett and Walter Brown; and a sister, Dorothy B. Woodson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 Am Saturday, June 1 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover Hill.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Friday, May 31 at Den Herder Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
