Herbert L. Schaadt, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
Herb was born in Willshire, Ohio on April 26, 1935, a son of the late Dorothy (Fritz) and Edward Schaadt.
On Jan 23, 1957 he married Laura “Katy” (Hilton) Schaadt.
He retired from International Harvester and enjoyed being a musician in Audiences Unlimited.
Herb will be sadly missed by his wife, Katy; daughters, Wanda Rodman of Antwerp, Arlene (Melvin) Baxley of Statesville, NC & Audrey Knapp of Sarasota, FL; brother, Marvin of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Randy & brothers, Richard & Raymond.
Herb’s service is Monday, June 17, 2013, 2 pm, with viewing two hours prior to the service at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.
He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
