Esther L. Painter, 91, of Woodburn passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at New Haven Health & Rehab.
Esther was born in Stroh, Indiana on March 17, 1922, a daughter of the late Iva (Harris) and Hurlis Lung.
Esther was a member of the Elix club at General Electric, the Woodburn American Legion & Christ Lutheran Church in Woodburn.
On April 30, 1949 Esther married Ralph Painter who passed away June 25,1989.
Esther will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon (Richard) Bauer of Antwerp; son-in-law, Thomas Foit; grandchildren Yvonne (Dan) Marlin, Todd Bauer, Sheila (Gary) Wakeland & Jeffery (Michelle) Halsey; 6 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by daughters, Eulaila Blankenship & Mary Jane Foit & brother, Charles Lung.
Services are Monday, July 1st, 10 am, Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River St., Antwerp, Ohio, with viewing one hour prior. Viewing is also Sunday, 2-5 pm at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials are to Christ Lutheran Church.
