PAULDING:
Clare M. Lanz, age 91 died Thursday, October 3 at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center, Paulding, Ohio.
She was born April 29, 1922, in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter of Alfred and Bertha (Hafeli) Buehler. On August 27, 1944 she married Elmer Lanz, who preceded her in death on April 13, 2002.
She is survived by a son, Kerry (Kathy) Lanz, Cincinnati, OH, 4 daughters: Susan (Willy) Tops, Nieuwerkerken, Belgium, Christy Romoser, Jennifer (Mark) Higinbotham, and Julie (Dwight) Weber, all of Seattle, WA; 11 grandchildren: Andrea Lanz, Tracey (Karl) Lanz Hoalst, Austin Lanz, Jeremiah (Sylvie) Tops, Benjamin (Karen) Tops, Caitlyn Romoser, Taylor Romoser, Alex Higinbotham, Dustin (Megan) Weber, Stephanie (Trace) Rorie, and Josiah Weber; 6 great grandchildren: Sydney, Tristan, Quinten, Amori, Mateo and Addison.
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday, October 6 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.
Graveside services will be conducted 10: 30 AM Monday, October 7 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Latty, OH with Rev. Dustin Weber officiating.
There will also be Memorial Services held in memory of Clare at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene, Paulding, OH with Rev. Dwight Weber officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made to Community Health Professionals; Country Inn Enhanced Living Center; or Children of the Nations.
