Evelyn S. Claymiller, 78, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Genesis HealthCare, New Haven. Born in rural Allen County, she was the daughter of the late William and Sophia Dauer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Payne, OH. She worked for many years at Parrot Packing Company.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bernard Claymiller; son, John Claymiller; and brother, Richard Dauer. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rebecca; and brother, Norbert Dauer.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Fred Meuter officiating. Calling is also 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial is in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
