Students in Antwerp High School’s Engineering Your Future (EYF) class recently finished a project that required them to design a light but functional cardboard chair capable of holding 200 pounds. Kaden Brumett, Jacob O’Donnell, and Steven Bowers designed the winning chair, which weighed only three pounds; the chair was also very comfortable and attractive. Mr. Bute, the high school principal, sat in the chair to test it live on the morning announcements broadcast. Mr. Cord Ehrhart and Mr. Rick Weirich co-teach the EYF course.
