The first game was canceled for the Lady Raiders and rescheduled for Saturday, January 11. Edon came to the Raider gym and and the game took place in the early afternoon.
There was virtually no contest for the Raiders in the JV match who took the game 40-6
Varsity started soft and the first quarter made the game look close when Wayne Trace finished only one point ahead of the Bombers. For some reason the girls struggled to get the ball in the goal. The second quarter is where the game took a turn for the Raiders.
The second half of the game was entirely on the Raider side of the court. Shayna Temple picked off an impressive 13 rebounds. The girls outscored the Bombers by more than double in both the third and fourth quarters. Lady Raiders finished the game with another win 73-37.
Watching the Lady Raiders, one notices there is no single standout player, making this a real team to watch in the future since the wins are not dependent on a single person.
