Noble C. Doehrman, 80, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Genesis HealthCare, New Haven. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Carl and Hulda Doehrman. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn. Noble served his country in the US Army and was a member of American Legion Post 377. He was a mechanic for 19 years at Bohren’s Trucking and was owner operator of Doehrman Repair Service for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene; sons, Jeff Doehrman of Phoenix, AZ and Joel (Teresa) Doehrman of Woodburn; brother, Willard (Ann) Doehrman of Indianapolis; and sister-in-law, Dru Chase. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Doehrman.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn with calling one hour prior. Pastor Tim Edwards officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Woodburn with military honors. Preferred memorials are to Woodburn Lutheran School or Christ Lutheran Church.
