PAULDING:
Elizabeth E. Beck, age 93 died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Gardens of Paulding, Paulding, Ohio.
She was born May 30, 1920 in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Vira (Shrider) Smalley. On June 29, 1941 she married Robert C. Beck, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2003. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and was employed by the Paulding County Library retiring in 1982.
She is survived by three children: Jerry (Ruth Ann) Beck, Tucson, AZ, Raymond (Judy) Beck, Paulding, and Pam (Bob Kochenour) Beck, Paulding; two brothers, Paul (Betty) Smalley and Robert Smalley, both of Antwerp; a sister, Lodena Brown, Paulding; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, William “Bill” Smalley; and a sister, Nellie Wilhelm.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, February 25 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Paulding County.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Monday, February 24 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
