CMH CEO ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

CMHAfter more than forty (40) years in the health care field, Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) CEO, Melvin Fahs has announced his retirement. Fahs looks forward to the next phase of his life. Mel and his wife, Marian, are relocating to Colorado to be near their newest grandchild. Fahs states that he has enjoyed his tenure at Community Memorial Hospital and enjoyed meeting many individuals within the community.

The CMH Board of Governors has formed a recruitment committee and is actively working toward Fahs’ successor. In the interim, Michelle Waggoner will serve as interim CEO. Waggoner has been part of the CMH team since 2001. With Waggoner as the interim, CMH will experience stability until the Fahs’ successor is determined.
