Alice C. Lisk, 91, of Van Wert died at 1:40 AM Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born September 12, 1922 in Delphos, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Martin) Hartlieb. On March 12, 1945 she married Robert Dirham who preceded her in death in 1989. On June 27, 1998 she married Harold ‘Pete’ Lisk who preceded her in death in 2001.
She is survived by her children Heather Annette (Robert) Miller of Paulding, Ohio-Richard S. Dirham of Van Wert, and Tina M. Woulfe of Lakewood, Colorado: 8 Grandchildren, Michelle (Ben) Bangert, Michael (Deedi) Miller, Melinda (Kurt) Newman, Eric (Sarah) Dirham, Jason (Kara) Dirham, Johnathon Dirham, Rebecca (Brennan ) Mann, and Meghan Hamilton. She is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Alice was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church- the Altar-Rosary Society-Catholic Ladies of Columbia- and the 300 Club.
Besides her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by 11 sibilings.
She was a longtime clerical employee of the former West Ohio Gas Company both in Van Wert and Lima.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Van Wert with Father Stanley Szybka officiating. Burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home 2 – 8 Thursday where there will be a Parish Vigil Service at 8:00 PM Thursday.
Preferred Memorials are donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Community Health Professionals Hospice and Masses.
