MELROSE:
Robert Andrew Seffernick, age 17 died on March 5, 2014 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was born in Paulding, Ohio on October 24, 1996, the son of Jeanne Seffernick and Mark Seffernick. Robbie was in the Junior Class at Wayne Trace High School and Vantage Vocational School. He was employed by Coopers Walnut Ridge Facility and had previously worked for Porter Auction. He had a love for hunting, spending time with his grandfathers, friends and family, telling original stories and working. He had a long desire to be a member of the US Marine Corp.
Robbie is survived by his parents, Jeanne (Shawn Gribble) Seffernick, Melrose, and Mark (Tina) Seffernick, Lima; sister, Courtney (Ashton Duer) Seffernick, Melrose; step siblings, Samantha Boyd, Jennifer Boyd, both of Arlington, and Jamie Williams of Lima; grandparents, John and Sue Guyton, Melrose, Steve Seffernick of Delphos; great grandparents, Myrtle Seffernick and Jean Ott both of Delphos, and Rolland and Mary Porter, Grover Hill; uncles, John (Kalyn Miller) Guyton Jr., Wetzel, Joe Guyton, Melrose, David (Ruby Ann) Seffernick, Lima, Chuck Davis, Paulding; aunts, Maggie Guyton, Oakwood, Pamela Law of Louisville, KY; step nephew, John Andrew Boyd; cousins, Trista, Allison, Kelsey, Selena, Jordan, Nathan, Jericho, Addie Jo Guyton, and Corey Adkins.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Seffernick; and great grandfathers, Alfred Seffernick, Chester Ott, and Homer and Methel (McCullough Aldrich) Guyton.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday, March 10 at Dupont Church of the Brethren, Dupont, OH. Burial will follow in Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose.
Visitation will be 2 – 8PM Sunday, March 9 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
Donations may be made to the Junior Class at Wayne Trace High School.
