The public is invited to attend the United Way of Paulding County’s Luau Fundraiser on Saturday, April 5th at the Paulding Eagle’s Lodge. We will start off with our special recognition at 5:00 p.m., and then from 6:00 p.m. until midnight, we will enjoy the LUAU festivities. The United Way Special Events Committee and Board Members are working hard to raise money for helping those in need in our county.
We are so greatful to have the Eagles support our efforts in the Paulding community. We couldn’t do this without them. They will provide a choice of a grilled chicken dinner or a steak dinner. Both dinners include a baked potato and salad bar. Kids can eat a hot dog and chips. Entertainment will start at 8:00 p.m. with the GRG 3 Band.
There are many raffle prizes: including an iPad Mini, have been donated by businesses, board members and individuals in the county. We will also have a 50/50 raffle to support our event and campaign. It will be an exciting evening with a competition held for those dressed in tropical attire. Don’t forget to bring your hula skirt, and wear your Hawaiian-themed shirts to enter the competition. It will be an entertaining night with a few fun games! See our flyer on our Facebook page titled “United Way of Paulding County.”
The money raised by the United Way of Paulding County stays in Paulding County to assist the needs in our local community.
