Inside lanes restricted as crews work to remove the center island
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that the northbound and southbound inside lanes of US 27/Lima Road between SR 930/Coliseum Boulevard and Dalgren Avenue will be restricted during the daytime hours of today, April 9, and Thursday, April 10. These restrictions are scheduled during the daylight hours until Thursday evening, as weather permits.
During this restriction crews are working to remove the center island and replacing it with temporary asphalt to accommodate for traffic flow for the next phase of construction.
This work is part of the US 27/Lima Road asphalt resurface project, which was awarded to E&B Paving for the low bid of $1.5 million. All work is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2014.
