The new video was just posted Monday!
The Paulding County Carnegie Library has the Bookmobile and this week honors the system.
The Bookmobile is owned and operated by the Paulding County Carnegie Library to serve the rural areas of Paulding County and citizens of all ages who may not be able to readily drive to a branch library in the villages of Antwerp, Oakwood or Payne; or to the main historic Carnegie library in Paulding.
The library is proud of its “award winning”* bookmobile team! The team includes Kathy Heffley, the manager of the operation and Tawnya English, the driver of this large bus. Both team members are great “people persons” and they will work hard to make sure your bookmobile visits are memorable. Their personalities teamed with their desire to provide great customer service, will result in a strong bookmobile program for all citizens.
*The bookmobile team received the “Give a Shout!” Award from the Ohio Library Council NW Chapter Conference held in Toledo, Ohio in 2013. They won the award for being “outstanding” staff members. They also presented a session at the 2013 National Bookmobile Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The bookmobile is actually a small branch library on wheels. All print materials that one would find at a branch library, may be found on the bookmobile. These includes popular reading and best-sellers; new movies, children’s titles, J-Fiction and Non -Fiction. A popular Adult fiction and non- fiction collection will provide for delightful browsing. Recorded books on CD, PlayAways and a number of popular movies for all ages will round out the collection. Everyone will find something to interest them on the bookmobile.
