The 2014 Antwerp High School graduation is set for May 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium.
Speakers for graduation include: Aaron Schneider (valedictorian), Kirsi Smith (salutatorian), Erik Miesle, Madeline Reinhart, Katie Hunt, Kyle Recker, Nathanael Hawley, Justin Langham and Brock Taylor.
Valedictorian – Aaron Schneider:
Aaron has a 3.973 GPA. He plans to attend Kent State University majoring in Managerial Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He is the son of Michael and Kimberly Schneider.
Some of the activities Aaron has been involved in include: Marching and Concert Band, Choir, Show Choir, Drama, National Honor Society, Student Council, FTA, International Club, Youth Group, Art Club, Yearbook, National Spanish Honor Society, Broadcasting, FCA, Dance, and Honor Roll (all four years).
Aaron has earned several awards: Perfect Attendance, Presidential Awards, President of NHS, 4-Year Academic Excellence Award, Principal’s Leadership Award, Biology, English III & IV, American History, Government, Economics, and Yearbook awards.
Salutatorian – Kirsi Smith:
Kirsi has earned a 3.823 GPA. She plans to attend The Ohio State University majoring in Music Education and Flute Performance. She is the daughter of Sam and Mary Smith.
Her many activities include: Marching and Concert Band, Choir, Show Choir, Drama, Dance, National Honor Society, Student Council, FTA, International Club, National Spanish Honor Society, Fort Wayne Children’s Choir, Youth Group leader, FCA, SADD, Ohio All State Band, and Honor Roll (all four years).
Some of the awards Kirsi has earned include: Toledo Honors Choir, Ohio All State Choir, District 3 Honor Choir, 4 Year Academic Excellence Award, and Statistics Award.
