HICKSVILLE, OHIO
Marcella Beverly, age 90, died Saturday June 28, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft Wayne, Indiana.
Marcella was born August 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Clinton J. and Lola (Marlendale) Wilson in Wabash, Indiana.
She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Ft. Wayne. She married Carl Conner who preceded her in death in 1966. She later was united in marriage to Waler Beverly, he preceded her in death in 1987.
Marcella attended Harlan United Methodist Church. She was a life member of the Hicksville Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #2556, American Legion Auxiliary Post #223 and the VFW Post Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son Donald Conner of Hicksville, three daughters, Mary Jo Smith of Sanger, CA, Linda (Jack) Mull and Carla (Mike) Swing both of Harlan; nine grandchildren, Joselyn Pacheco, Nicole Banoub, Dawn Lingar Travis, Eddie Smith, Michael Conner, Matthew Knapp, Teri Ritschard, Casie Metz, Michelle Swing; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and a brother Jack Wilson.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Cory Zimmerman and a brother Mervin Wilson.
A memorial service will be at Smith & Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday July 8th at 11:00. Visitation will be Monday July 7th from 2:00-8:00. An Eagles Auxiliary service will be at 7:00. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Health Professionals of Defiance or the PRMC Hospice.
