The City of New Haven will spray for mosquitoes (weather permitting) throughout the New Haven area on the following date(s):
Wednesday, August 20th 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight
Spray areas will concentrate in the Sunnymede subdivision and will consist of a one-half mile radius around the 2000 block of Dellwood Drive in the City of New Haven
Various other wooded areas of the city will also be sprayed
“To alleviate any concerns during this spraying period, we are asking residents to remain indoors while the spray crew is in your area.” Mayor McDonald said.
If you don’t want the trucks to spray in front of your house, please contact the Utility Department at 414-9097 before 4:00 p.m. on the day of spraying.
If mosquito spraying is canceled due to rain or excessive wind, spraying will be backed up one day at a time (weather permitting). Any other future dates regarding mosquito spraying will also be announced.
