FORT WAYNE:
Lulu Belle Payne, age 72, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Payne was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 16, 1942 to Ross Bolton Knapp and Mary Louise (Sunday) Knapp. She married Jack Eugene Payne on May 17, 1962 in Harlan, Indiana. Lulu was a homemaker and enjoyed going to garage sales and playing bingo. They lived 32 years in St. Petersburg, Florida before returning back home in 2012.
Survivors include: Her husband, Jack Payne of Fort Wayne. Son, Jeffrey Payne of Fort Wayne. Grandson, Shawn Payne Reddin of Hicksville, Ohio. Many nieces and nephews. Brother, Steve and Sue Knapp of Antwerp, Ohio. Sister, Judy Gray of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Sister, Donna and Max Timbrook of Florida.
She was preceded in death by parents, three brothers, and one sister.
