Chatworth, Georgia:
Mr. Ronald L. Slattery, also known as ‘Ron’ or ‘Slats’, age 66 of Chatsworth, GA and Antwerp, OH, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014.
Mr. Slattery was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1970 and a member of the Moose Lodge in Calhoun, GA, the ALR in Woodburn, IN, and the American Legion in Antwerp, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Frances Slattery.
Survivors include, wife, Cindi Shull-Slattery of the home; son, Ronnie Slattery, Antwerp, OH; daughters, Tammy Slattery, Riverside, CA, Dusty Slattery, OH, Tera Shull, Antwerp, OH, Courtney Shull, Antwerp, OH and Cassidy Shull, Paulding, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Carol Slattery, Oviedo, FL; and several grandchildren.
There will be an Irish Wake for Ron at the Antwerp Conservation Club on Saturday, September 13 from 6-9pm.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth, GA is in charge of the cremation and arrangements for Mr. Ronald Slattery.
