CLOVERDALE:
Douglas James Reed, age 61 died Monday, September 15, 2014.
He was born March 4, 1953 in Paulding, Ohio, the son of Homer J. and Ruth M. (Ries) Reed. On November 10, 1973 he married his beloved wife, Jeanne R. Williamson, who preceded him in death on September 16, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth M. Reed, Grover Hill; two sons, Steven (Kristine) Reed of Van Wert, Keith (Tara) Reed of Haviland; daughter, Amber (William) McCoy of Oswego, Illinois; five grandchildren: Matthew, Nathan, Austin, Ethan and William; and sister, Carolyn Pruden, Grover Hill.
He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Marilyn Lockie.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday, September 22 at the Middle Creek United Methodist Church, Grover Hill, Ohio, with Rev. Harold L. Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. There will also be visitation from 10 AM until time of services on Monday at the church.
