Oakwood – Marc E. Reinman, 67, Oakwood died 4:26 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Toledo Hospital with his family by his side. He was born March 4, 1947 in Lima to the late Ralph J. and Martha M. (Mullett) Reinman. On September 13, 1969, he married Ruth A. Seemann who survives in Oakwood.
Marc is also survived by two children: Kimberly (Chad) Zachrich of Defiance and Keri Reinman of Oakwood; three grandchildren: Zaden Davenport, Adam Zachrich, Abigail Zachrich, and two sisters: Lian (Ray) Day of Phoenix, Arizona and Susan (Gene) Smith of Atlanta, Georgia. He is preceded in death by a brother, John Reinman.
Marc retired in 2009 from General Motors in Defiance after working 40 years. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Defiance’s VFW, AM Vets, Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He was a avid motor cyclist attending rallies as a lifetime member of the BMWMOA and AMA.
A funeral service will begin 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood. There will be a military rites by the Defiance AM Vets and VFW following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donor’s choice.
