Elmer “Bud” Conley, 78, of Payne, passed away Friday, October 3rd, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Bud was born in Tomahawk, KY on December 5, 1935 a son of the late Dewey & Mae (Cheek) Conley.
He worked at Taylor Made Glass, loved his hot rods & was a member of Rose Hill Church of God
On July 7, 1995 he married Becky Carpenter.
Bud will be sadly missed by his wife, Becky; children, Vicky Sprow of Hicksville, Penny (Jim) Molter of Payne, James Conley of Hicksville, Patty (Kevin) Lee of Payne & Dottie (Gary) Elliott of Grover Hill; siblings, Justine (the late Swanson) Daniels, Moncie (the late Winfred) Johnson, Lee (the late Gary) Nicely & Harold Conley all of Paulding, Evelyn (Archie) Moricle of Varney, WV, Dixie Baldridge of Beckley, WV & Flora (the late Roy) Brown of Kernersville, NC; 12 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.
His siblings, Pauline Shuemate & James have passed away.
Viewing is Monday 4 – 8 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
His funeral service at Rose Hill Church of God, 17965 Road 138, Paulding, at 11 am on
Tuesday, October 7th, with viewing one hour prior.
He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery.
