Notice to all Antwerp Exchange Bank customers: We were notified this past Saturday night (October 25th) that a number of individuals in the area were receiving a cell phone text, stating that our customers’ VISA debit cards had been frozen. (Our bank was not the only one affected.) The notice included directions to respond to a specific cell phone number. The recipient was then advised to provide debit card number, expiration date, the three-digit number on the back of the card, as well as the PIN number. This is a SCAM, as AEB will never ask for this information. If you responded by providing this information, please contact AEB immediately.
