To me, the local issues are as equally important as the people running for offices.
The Paulding County Board of Developmental Disabilities needs to be approved as it is a renewal and not an increase in your taxes.
The Paulding County Extension Office is asking for a .15 hundreds of a mill. This is a very small increase for all that they do.
The Paulding County Library Carnegie Library operating expense. This is a 1.5 mill renewal, actually it is a little decrease in taxes. We have a library circuit to be proud of.
Here in Antwerp, they vote on a renewal for city operating expenses, this is not an increase.
There is a levy for a new fire truck of 2.63 mills for 5 years. This is for a truck recommended by the NAVFA and some much needed equipment.
Look well to your ballot.
