Steve and Nancy Derck of Antwerp will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, November 28, 2014. They were joined in Holy Matrimony on November 28, 1964 by Fr. Gerald Stein of St. Michael’s Parish in Hicksville, Ohio. They have two daughters: Anita (Robert) Bok of Antwerp and Beth Derck of Noblesville, IN. They also have five grandchildren: Steven, Ryan, Whitney, and Lindsey Bok, and Christopher Derck.
Steve and Nancy are both retired and enjoy traveling to visit with family whenever possible. Steve enjoys helping his nephews with their farming operation and is a member of the Antwerp Village Council. Nancy enjoys spending her time tending her multiple flower beds, reading and going to garage sales. They both enjoy watching their youngest granddaughter play sports. They also enjoy spending time with relatives in the warm Florida sunshine during the winter months.
The Dercks will celebrate their anniversary with family and friends at a Thanksgiving Dinner in Noblesville, IN. They are also planning on taking a cruise this coming winter.
