Genfed Credit Union on the east side of Antwerp on CR424 has been robbed once again by armed gunmen. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Antwerp Police Department and the FBI are all on hand investigating the video and the crime scene for clues. The escape vehicle is reported to be a silver SUV.
Between four and five armed persons arrived at the bank just after noon for the holdup. This is after the institution was robbed a month and half-a-go on October 22.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the crime.
The area is being searched for the vehicle and/or traces of the crime.
The GenFed Credit Union is currently closed but will reopen after the evidence has been gathered.
