Wayne Trace had a host of top scorers in the game against Lincolnview on Saturday night, December 20. The Lancers travelled to the Palace to compete in both the boys’ JV and varsity games. The first game was a close match and an all-out war by the fourth quarter. Lincolnview fought to keep the lead with the Raiders running a full court press, trying and gain the lead. By the end though the Lancers came out four points ahead at 42-38.
The varsity game began with senior David Sinn scoring the first basket in a foul shot. Ethan Linder, half of those being free throws, led the charge and the Raiders piled the points on with help from the team. Though the first quarter was close by the end, the Raiders led by nearly 10 points early on.
The half time score finished at 37-27 and the Raiders held the lead.
The third and fourth quarters the Raiders once again had the higher points and they finished the game at 75-58.
Corbin Linder and Luke Miller each hit 2 – 3 point baskets.
