Lavon C Miller, 81, of Antwerp passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Lavon was born in Fort Wayne on December 1, 1933, a daughter of the late Catherine T (Johnson) and Elmore E Cornewell.
She was an office manager at Heavy Duty Manufacturing, Fort Wayne & a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church.
Lavon will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael (Alice) of New Haven, Larry (Judy) of Edgerton & Ronald (Ann) of Fort Wayne; brother, Leo Cornewell of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Amy (Gary) Thornell, Nicole (Anthony) Beldon, April (Brendan) Miller-Zapp, Brian (Deanna), Nathan, Brandon, Cameron & Ryan Miller; great grandchildren. Jessica, Eric, Kaelyn, Lucy, Myla, Natalie & Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chester & Elmore
Funeral Mass is at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp on Saturday, Jan. 3rd at 10 am.
Viewing is at Dooley Funeral Home on Friday, 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm with a vigil service at 7:30 pm. Viewing is also Saturday, 9-9:30 am at Dooley’s.
She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
