It was a great night for games on Tuesday, January 13. Edgerton boys travelled to the Palace for the boys basketball game, entering the competition with a 5-3 record. Wayne Trace came away from their first loss against Napoleon on Saturday, putting their tally at 7-1.
The first half was dominated by the home team while maintaining consistency across the board. The game was ruled by the Linder brothers who between the two scored a combined total of 49 points.
It was the in the third quarter where Corbin Linder broke the previous record of 3 point career baskets on Tuesday, January 13 against Edgerton. The previous record was 199 set by Nate Overmeyer in 2004. Linder now has 201 at the finish of this game.
The beginning of the fourth quarter The Raiders were up 59-35 and the team relaxed the pressure on the Bulldogs. Edgerton scored 22 points in the fourth quarter with most of them by Alex Michael.
