Hoschak, Mildred picMildred Jean Hoschak age 99 died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Gardens of Paulding, Paulding, Ohio.

She was born January 16, 1916 in Paulding the daughter of Albert and Dora (Cramer) Anspach. On February 20, 1939 she married Alphons J. Hoschak who preceded her in death on December 11, 1986. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding where she was very active in the church. She was a 1934 graduate of Paulding High School; and previously worked at the former Grizzly Manufacturing; Paulding Theater; Mentzer’s 5 & 10 Store; the Vagabond Restaurant; and WPA. She was a member of the Paulding Eagles #2405 Auxiliary and it’s drill team. She loved to sew and loved African violets.

She is survived by four children: Janice C. (William) Wiseman, Ocala, FL, Carol A. Merz, Paulding, Gregory C. (Mary) Hoschak, Ney, and Gary A. Hoschak, Paulding; twelve grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, William Michael Merz; and her siblings: Harry Anspach, Floyd Anspach, Amanda Knisley, Gertrude Haushalter, Alma Bennett, Violet Anspach and Myrtle Hofstetter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 AM Saturday, February 14 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding County.

Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Friday, February 13 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with a wake service at 7:30 PM. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Masses.
