The Lady Panthers travelled to Lima Perry on Thursday, February 12. The game between the teams resulted in Paulding winning by 8 points!
The first quarter had Lima taking the top spot at 17-12. The Lady Panthers came back and held the Perry offense at bay with the only score being a free-throw shot. Not lacking points of their own, the Panthers streak with 13 points and the half finished in Paulding’s favor at 25-18.
Third quarter began with Perry hammering the guest team in a score of 22-8, taking the lead back.
The fourth quarter was where Paulding leveled the field. Brooke Combs hit three 3 point baskets, Reinhart had two 3-pointers, and Skyler McCullough hit one 3-pointer in the game. Fourth quarter play completely reversed itself and Paulding scored 22 and Lima 8. The points were spread out well especially for up and coming freshman, Cassidy Posey.
The Lady Panthers finished the game with a 7 point lead and taking their second game of the year and beginning a winning streak!
