Michael Krakowski, 55, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Born on July 22, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana, Mike was the son of Edmund and Jane Krakowski.
Mike graduated from Woodland High School with the class of 1977.
On March 15, 2001, he was united in marriage with Jill Bailey.
Mike was employed by the U.S. Postal service where he was a rural carrier in the Ft. Wayne area for 17 years. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, coached high school wrestling at Woodland and was a little league coach in Hicksville.
He is survived by his wife Jill; stepson Brad (Crystal) Smith of Tipp City, Ohio; stepdaughter Nicki Smith (Robert III) Miller of Hicksville; step grandsons, Justin and Jacob Miller; his parents Edmund and Jane; and a brother Robert Krakowski.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services for Mike will be Tuesday at 11:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
