Woodburn Lutheran School 6th grader, Abbey Gentz has broken two varsity school track records so far this season. Abbey is a daughter of Jake and Jamie Gentz. Abbey broke the record for the 880 yard by a just over a second. The previous record holder was Emily Voelker from 1998. Abbey also broke the school record for the 1 mile race. She beat the previous record held by Lindsay (Smith) Adams from 1997 by seven seconds. Abbey also hopes to be the new record holder for the 440 yard race.
