PAYNE: Ethel A. Flaugh, age 82 died Saturday, August 8, 2015.
She was born August 25, 1932 in Ft. Wayne, IN, the daughter of Lorin and Margaret (Wallace) Marquiss. On January 13, 1954 she married Richard Flaugh, who preceded her in death on January 14, 2001. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Payne; DAR; VFW Post #587 Auxiliary; Payne Chamber of Commerce; Payne Community Theater; St. Paul United Methodist Church Women’s Group; and Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by five children: Rick (Mary Beth) Flaugh, West Mifflin, PA, Scott (Margaret) Flaugh, Medford, OR, Mark (Irene) Flaugh, Cheryl (George) Williams, and Karen (Robert Williams, all of Payne; personal caretakers and granddaughters, Rikki Skiver and Heather Wesley; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
She is also preceded in death by an infant daughter; siblings, Tonya Roberts, Mary Keeley, John Marquiss; and infant grandson, Joey Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, August 13 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. David Rohrer officiating. Burial will be in Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Wednesday, August 12 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
