On Saturday, August 15th, the Rockford Belle, at 135 Market Street, Rockford, OH will host gospel music entertainers, The Jubilees for a heartwarming appearance. Their purpose in singing is to present to all they meet, Jesus Christ, and trust you will make Him your own personal Savior and friend!” Attend this exciting musical performance at 7:00 p.m. with doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The Jubilees officially started August 2000 in Marion, IN. Warren and Kathy Johnson and Dave and Christy Birnell entered and won a talent search at the Northern Gospel Singing Convention held at the Marion Coliseum, earning them a two song recording session at Counterpoint Studios in Cincinnati, OH. Seven months later, at Counterpoint they were honored to record their first recording session entitled “The Jubilees Family Reunion”.
After attending the 2nd Northern Gospel Singing Convention in Marion, Indiana, the Jubilees were privileged to meet Eddie Crook of the “Happy Goodman Family” fame and went on to record their 2nd project “Ready to Go” with him on his Cedar Hill label in Nashville, Tennessee, in February of 2002.
