Ms. Mary E. Bailey (Bender) and Mr. Gabriel Oberlin were united in marriage on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at half past eleven o’clock in the morning at Sandals Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Conrad Pitkin of Faith Temple Assembly of God. The bride’s brother hosted a dinner and reception at his home in Fort Wayne.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug (Kathy) Bailey of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Leonard of Fort Wayne, Indiana and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kline (Ruby) Bailey of Lansing, Michigan. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Marsha) Oberlin of Antwerp, Ohio. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Gerencser of Antwerp, Ohio and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Donna) Oberlin of Bryan, Ohio.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of magenta orchids and the groom wore a matching boutonnière.
The bride is a graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing, and works at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. The groom is a graduate of Antwerp High School. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, Bowling Green State University with a Masters Degree in Education Administration and works for the Four County Career Center as the Patrick Henry HS Vocational Horticulture Instructor in Hamler, Ohio.
Following their honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Mary and Gabe will reside in rural Hicksville, Ohio.
