Hazel M. Weaver, 82, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Montpelier, Ohio.
Hazel was born on September 23, 1932 in Antwerp, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Laney) Fett.
She was a 1950 graduate of Antwerp High School and received an accounting degree from Ivy Tech in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
She was married to Frank L. Jones and he preceded her in death in 1970. On May 6, 1978, she was married to Robert Weaver and he preceded her in death in 2009.
Hazel worked for the Ft. Wayne Women’s Bureau, ITT in New Haven and Lincoln Life in Ft. Wayne.
She was a member of the Good Shepherd Deaf Lutheran Church in Stryker, Ohio.
Hazel is survived by her children, Michael (Deb) Jones of Hicksville, Lorraine (Joe) Morhart of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Brenda (Tom) Badenhop of Montpelier, Ohio, Linda Jones of Waterloo, Indiana; (12) grandchildren; and (25) great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services for Hazel will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp, Ohio.
