Robert E. Laukhuf, age 81 died Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
He was born August 9, 1934 in Paulding County, Ohio, the son of Richard and Velta (Yearling) Laukhuf. On January 30, 1954 he married Iris E. Baker, who preceded him in death on July 2, 2000. He was a US Navy veteran serving in the Seabees. He was a retired farmer and former board member of Paulding County Hospital. He wintered in Bradenton, Florida.
He is survived by two children: Gary L. Laukhuf, West Palm Beach, FL, and Gaye (Mark) Myers, Payne; a brother, Dean (Eva) Laukhuf, Bradenton, FL; and two grandchildren: Jared and Kari Myers.
He is also preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 1PM Sunday, September 13 at the Latty Apostolic Christian Church, Latty, OH. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Saturday, September 12 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. There will also be visitation from 12 noon until time of services on Sunday at the church.
